Surprise Surprise

Celebrated our 5th Anniversary last monday!!!! We had a pre-celebration 'cause we were doing a staycay and i'd rather skip school in the first week than the second week (duh) haha. So as usual, the bf did all the planning and kept it as a surprise from me. I mean, I knew that we were going on a staycay but I was kept from knowing the plans in the day and which hotel we would be staying at.... and that almost killed me. I just can't deal with the suspense omg. 

A million thank yous to the bf who painstakingly planned everything and had to fend off your bugger of a gf who kept disturbing you to tell her the plans hahahaha it's tough. Okay let me do the planning next year please!!!!!!

So in the day, he kept telling me that we had to leave house at 9.45am, which got me really curious as to what we were gonna be doing. I had so many speculations like, were we going to a sports activity place???? Or a terrarium workshop (he did a terrarium for me previously and it's rotting now. Valid speculation k)???? I also thought it might have been a cooking class 'cause he said we would have lunch after the activity......  Anyhow, we didn't manage to leave house at said timing and therefore we had to cab there hahaha. 

Taxi driver, "Going Fort Canning park right?"

BF, "Err yes."

Well well what were we gonna be doing at Fort Canning park?! I still had 0 clue. I was thinking maybe a cafe? But he said there was an activity before lunch!!! Oh god i can't deal with it. 

Upon reaching, BF asked where The Glass Room was located and i was like, wait, isn't The Glass Room like an eating place??????

Look at his devious smile as he continued keeping me in suspense

Turns out, the glasshouse has been converted to a spa and massage place! O boy i was so happpyyyyyy. Like, i didn't want to be doing anything which requires me to work my muscles at 11am?! So thank god it was a massage omggggg ty bf for spoiling me :****

Loved the ambience of the room

Oh the 1 hour massage + scrub was so relaxinggggggg. Reminds me of Bali days when we went to get a massage every single dayyyyy :(

Ginger tea after the massage! It was so gooodddd lol I would have drank more if the lady wasn't staring at us awkwardly xD

Cabbed to our hotel after!!!!! Only found out where we were going when i googled the address of our destination hahaha. So, the bf booked Hotel JEN @ Tanglin for our staycay ^^

The room was so so pretttyyyyy and hipster-ish!! (just realised i didn't take any proper photos of the room itself 'cause i was too busy snapchatting :( bummerrrr)
Soz we just had to camwhore on the sofa by the window hehe

I TOLD THE BF TO STOP TAKING PHOTOS OF ME 'CAUSE I WASN'T READY BUT NO. HE REFUSED TO LISTEN I WAS SO ANGRY HAHAHAHA

Late lunch at Brunetti @ Tanglin Mall! It was raining damn heavily but thankfully there's a direct link from the hotel to Tanglin Mall so it was quite convenient.

Ordered room service for dinner! Livin' the life while we can

 Woke up at 9am the next day for the complimentary breakfast buffet :)

Food selection was decent but the standard wasn't that high? Like this scrambled eggs and overcooked bacons which i didn't enjoy eating xD

Thank you bf for still thinking of ways and making the effort to pamper me on this special occasion heehee. No one can ever ever replace your place in my heart x
