Post Exams

Done with the second last semester of my uni life (squeals)!!!!!!! Probably gonna miss uni life - the project works, mugging (or not), friends and all that when i actually graduate...... but....... NO MORE EXAMS for now and that's all that really matters lol.

Hehe love study dates with the bf @ L'etoile. Super yummy chocolate cakes omggggg craving for some right now
DOESN'T IT LOOK GOOD
{True love is Blind(s) series shots}

BTS: The glaring sun was too much to handle so the bf shut it after the photos were taken LOL

Last paper on Thursday! That immense joy you feel when the automated voice tells you you have 15 mins left....... to the start of your holidays :D

Out with Char after our paper to celebrate the start of our holidays hehe. Headed to Taka to get some Tori Q and a Speculoos Cookie Butter tart from Butter studios to satisfy our hunger before high tea. We were starving so badly omg felt so much bliss from the first bite of Tori Q~~~

This tart was pretty good too! Except that the icing/cream thing on top was so damn sweet lol
Window shopped for a bit before heading to the bus stop where we were supposed to take a bus to Boufé. Everything was still going fine - it was raining but char had an umbrella to shelter us to the bus stop across, reached the bus stop and the board showed that 111 was 'ARR'. "It must be our day" i thought. UNTIL the bus didn't arrive for a few mins and Char saw that it had changed to 36 MINS. Wtf do buses still come in that time intervals nowadays?! Yes apparently they do but still, 36 FREAKING MINS YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME. We couldn't wait that long 'cause we had made a booking at 3pm, so we decided to take a cab instead. Couldn't get any on the road, and then we realised it was because there was a taxi stand nearby at Taka's so we decided to head there. The queue was CRAZY. Not CRAZY LONG CRAZY tho,  just CRAZY. But we still queued anw 'cause ain't nobody's gonna wait for a bus for 36 mins.

So yeap, got on to a cab and made our way to Boufé

The interior was really nice! So white and minimalistic

Hehe our highly anticipated high tea set!!

You'll have to make a reservation if you're going there for this. And it costs $60 nett for this whole setup, which was pretty reasonable i guess. Definitely one of the more affordable high tea for 2 people.

We took way more photos of the high tea set, but it all looks the same anw so i'm not gonna post them all. The food was really good tho! Way better than expected hehe.

What was in the Xmas high tea set (In order of preference):
1. Crabmeat Croissants
2. Smoked Salmon Profiterole
3. Sandwich
4. Macarons
5. Scallop and prawn canapé
6. Strawberry shortcake
7. Matcha pastry

The Matcha pastry was actually not bad but it's the least preferred 'cause the both of us do not like matcha xD

Spent TWO hours at the cafe hahaha trying to stuff ourselves with the icing just 'cause they were too nice to be wasted. Obvs didn't finish it tho there was just too much sugar in there.

Went out and walked around trying to take good shots hahaha

BTW NEW WHATSAPP PIC GUYS

LOVIN THIS FACE

THERE'S ACTUALLY TEN THOUSAND MORE OF THESE PHOTOS IN MY PHONE. IT IS THAT CRAZY.

Out with QS and Nana on friday night! Had dinner at the basement of 313, ate the indonesian bbq chicken/rice/vege set and it was so damn goooodddddddd, much better than the ones at food courts! Or, it could be because i was starving hahaha.
Went to shop at The Editor's market after! Hehehe got 2 new culottes thanks to my bffs' late birthday present :***

Walked to Taka after spending almost an hour at TEM

SUCH A PRETTY XMAS DECORATION

Ended up at Starbucks 'cause it was kinda late and everywhere else was closing by then :( But it's k, toffenut frappe never disappoints :D
Lol me being auntie and all taking photos of the xmas decor along orchard road
Helped out with the Stock Up! A Christmas market event on sat thanks to Char's intro ^^ The place was so preeeeettttyyyyy, like it just felt so nice and artsy with all the cool stalls there

As usual, ruining photos since 1994

Cakes from Sarahsloft! Tried the Earl Grey Lavender cake and it was so gooooodddd!!!!
Also tried this grilled cheese hainanese chicken sandwich from Meltitude which was so damn good omg. Not forgetting the banana chips too ♥.

Not sure if i'm actually working or just enjoying the food lol. Look at us just enjoying the melted cheese

P.S. I STILL HAVE THE ULTRA UNGLAM PIC OF YOU WITH CHEESE HANGING OUT FROM YOUR MOUTH LOL. LOVE YA!

Oooooo look at my masterchef bf who tried making creme brûleé tonight. Didn't have the chance to try it, but i'm sure it tastes awesome : ) Can't wait to eat the yummy home-cooked food he cooks when we're married hehe the roles are reversed now ^^
