Cheryltsz: DIY Xmas Tree

Feeling so crappy and miserable right now thanks to my period ;'( I just wanna snuggle up and whine to the bf about the pain and let him rub my tummy ;"(((( Soz, menses makes me extra needy huhuhu.

Newaez, headed to the Cash Converter store at AMK last week with the bf to check it out and i was ultra disappointed. They had some nice affordable stuff (furniture/kitchen ware etc) but the place was SO small?????? Barely got myself some decor for the xmas tree i planned to do up...... And also, realised that the box of lights i bought actually costs cheaper at NTUC..... not that cheap after all hmph.

Went to Popular after to get styrofoam boards for the xmas tree hehe. (Decided to make an easy xmas tree decor myself instead of getting a tree 'cause it looks pretty cool and unique, and also because setting up an actual xmas tree is so damn tiring).

1. Drew the outline of a xmas tree on the styrofoam board

2. Used a penknife to cut out the tree. This was one of the most horrible things to do. It was so damn difficult to cut through and the small white bits kept dropping and flying everywhere?! But still, love the final product!!!!

Finally met the princesses after one semester of conflicted schedules D: Had yummy pasta for lunch @ Raffles City, tried Tuk Tuk Cha, and ended off with a 1-2 hour stay at TEM L O L idk if we actually stayed that long in the store but it felt like forever hahaha.

So good to finally hang out with them again after such a long time : )

And also, went to support QS's photobooth LOL

High Tea Dimsum buffet with the bf and his fam on friday @ Bao Today (the branch at Hotel Rendezvous) 'cause they're currently having some xmas promo. Make sure you make a reservation before heading down tho, we saw quite a few people getting turned away even after waiting for awhile 'cause the place was fully booked i think.

It was supposed to start at 3pm but i think the food started coming out only around 3.15??? We were starving like crazy by then and were so so happy when we saw the waiters bringing some dishes out hehe. Oh btw there wasn't any menu or paper for you to tick and order like the usual dimsum places, instead, their waiters will continuously bring food around on trays and offer it to every table if they want. So yeap, good and bad i guess. They didn't bring out any hargaos and chee cheong fun???? Weird....... ain't those like the staples of dimsum.

But the dimsum was not bad?????? I don't rmb particularly hating on any of the things i ate haha. Siew mai was quite nice, liu sha bao was nice, the fried banana and red bean thing was awesome!!!!! Ohoh i think the bf mentioned that the tiny pork ribs weren't nice???? But overall, it was still a good experience (Y)

Felt a bit cheated tho, 'cause we came for this snowman but it's not included in the buffet, so we had to order it separately. $3.80 for 2 pieces! Worth a try! It's damn cute and tasted quite nice???? The head's filled with lotus paste and the body is custard.
