Life haz been good

Yayayayay really like how my last silkscreen printing work turned out!!!! It was meant to be a girl wearing a cape but now it looks like a japanese woman wearing a kimono??? Okay whatever it is i like it so it can be anything hahaha

Tried out the place 'Knuckles' thanks to my mum's recommendation! It's located like just 1/2 shops away from the Nakhon kitchen at Kovan.

$6 truffle fries 

$5 chicken wings, $10/$12 fish & chips 

Food there was pretty good!!!!! Prices are reasonable and i really really liked the truffle fries and chicken wingssssss. Normal fries drizzled in truffle oil but the truffle smell was so strong and heavenly (I love truffle btw) and the chicken wings were amazinggggg, tasted a bit like har jeong kai (prawn paste chicken) which i loveeeeeee. Fish & chips was good too but we couldn't finish it even tho my mum and i shared...... lol probably got my tiny appetite from her.

Knuckles was so good that we went a second time in the same week. Brought my cousin, dad and bro along this time! Had the aglio olio, which was a tad too salty and not really worth it imo? Would rather get the mains next time. Got the $30 knuckles platter this time! Like literally pork knuckles, and everyone loved it :)

Went to collect my new specs with the bf on Monday! Was a bit weird at first 'cause i'm finally seeing things crystal clear omg i had the bf test me using words that were like super far and i could actually read it???????? Never thought this day would come.

And finaaaaallllyyyyyy, the long awaited movie night!!!!!!! After a whole night of skype meetings which ended at 4plus am omg the struggle was realllllll. Got happy for a bit when RS said he was gonna come over with cup noodles for us but then it got too late so we settled for his brownies for supper, which wasn't a good substitute to curb our hunger but i guess it had to do.

Had a few movies in mind but we settled for Brokeback Mountain 'cause all of us haven't watched it yet, plus it sounded pretty interesting on Wiki.........

Hmmmm i think i would rate it like a....... 6/10????? A few shocking scenes, random turn of events and damn good acting by the main actors but it isn't a show that i'll rewatch i think.

Tried the jap food along the stretch of food places (Nakhon, Knuckles, Hatterstreet) called Tachinomiya with the bf and my mum :)
This is the rib eye don which my mum and i shared. Beef was good, rice was good too 'cause i love how the sauce covers like 101% of it and it was so moisttttt. $15 tho, and the portion was quite small. Like, it would be filling for me but no one else lol.

 The bf's curry tonkatsu don. $9.50. Was not bad too?? But i liked my rib eye don more!!!

Yakitori sticks!!!! Surprisingly the highlight of our meal there. We ordered 4 sticks ('cause the min no. was 4) - Shitake mushroom, asparagus wrapped with bacon, pork belly and chicken, $2.50 each. I loved all of them omgggggggg, especially the bacon/asparagus one and the shitake mushrooms they were so gooooodddddd. Bf's favourite was the pork belly and he was like "please try it it's damn good" so i had high expectations for it but..... i mean i like it, but not at the top of my list cause there was too much fats haha. Wouldn't mind going there just for the yakitori sticks tho.

Yum yum truffle potato chips! Finally got my hands on it from Cold Storage! Costs $8 tho and it was only half full sob sobsssss

Drinking/birthday celebration for the bf last night! Had so much fun playing Battleship with beer shots and rage cage as usuallllll :)

Woke up hella early (9.30am) for brunch at Lola's with Mande & Zk! Hehe thankful for the bf for walking/pulling me there 'cause i was walking damn slowly even tho i was like half an hour late ><

Brunch was so goooodddddd (Y). We sat at the newly expanded area and it was so much more cozy/less congested! Food was good, company was awesome hehe skyped meh meh (who's in korea) too :)

These 2 weeks have been good. Project meetings here and there but it was still bearable thanks to the company.  Dreading hell week tho, which is like the week after this.... 3 presentations in one week omg can't wait for it to be overrrrrr~
