Cheryltsz: Paddy Hills

Can't remember when was the last time the bf and i actually went out for a date, like y'know, going out just to chill and have fun.... but i'm so glad we got to do it today :) Went out only for a short while but it was fun while it lasted hehe.

Left house like half an hour later than planned 'cause we had to take a nice photo with our new iphone covers LOL #priorities. But the photo turned out pretty nice didn't it ;) Credits to the mother for tolerating our nonsense and being our photographer hahaha

Rare dates call for better dressing xD

Decided to go visit the cafe Paddy Hills after seeing so many pretty photos of the food on instagram ^^ Took a train to Har Paw Villa station before taking bus 200 (Exit A bus stop) for like 1-2 stops and the cafe was just across the road :)

Pretty chill and nice place. Not a lot of people when we reached at around 3 plus?

Got ourselves the Earl Grey tea ($6.50?) which tasted really good and blended well with our food, altho there wasn't really a tea taste haha

And the main reason why we went there: Berry Ricotta Hotcakes - $20. Price for this was pretty steep but it was quite worth it. More importantly, t's not one of those desserts which only look good in photos but it TASTES good too (a little like scones?). It's pretty big but surprisingly we didn't get sick of it after taking a few bites : ) And the fruits were so fresh, sweet and juicy??? Probably why it's so expensive.

So much aesthetic appeal

Wanted to order some fried rice cake dish but they said 'the night-time menu wouldn't be available till next month'? Quite bummed. But we settled for the beef man tou sliders and it was a good choice too (Y). Read somewhere online that the mantou was a disappointment but i quite liked it? The beef patty was thick and yummy and the BBQ sauce was awesomeeeeee, especially with the sweet potato chips/fries? :)
