#BaliCLAN Day 5

Second last day in Bali and hands down the shaggest day of the trip, maybe even the shaggest day of my whole life lolol. 

Slept for only 1 hour plus before the van (from the trekking company) came to pick us up from our villa at like 1.30am! Had to leave so early in the morning because the journey to the volcano/mountain takes around 2 hours and we had to make it to the top of the mountain before sunrise.....

(OMG A STUPID LIZARD CAME TO INVADE MY PRIVACY WHILE I WAS UPDATING MY BLOG. SO I SPENT 1 HOUR WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO COME SAVE ME AND CATCH THAT DAMN LIZARD. IT CRAWLED ONTO MY TABLE AND NEAR MY BED EWWWWWWWW. SO THANKFUL FOR AMOS FOR CATCHING IT AND BRINGING IT FAR FAR AWAY FROM MEEEEEEE)

K back to Bali! We stoppped around midway or 3/4 up the mountain for some drinks and toilet break before continuing the journey. Can't rmb if there was food provided but we didn't take any haha only had a cup of mint tea hoping it would wake me up. 

Reached our starting point after another half an hour/one hour of car ride. 

AND SO THE TORTURE BEGINS........... 3 hours of uphill trekking, stepping on loose rocks and slippery sand...... You can only imagine how many times i told myself "it's ending soon it'll be worth it" just to get myself going. But ofc i couldn't have done it without the bf's support (mentally and physically), for making sure i don't slip and fall and encouraging me throughout the hike hehe what would i do without him~

Reached the peak at 5plus/6 and waited for the sun to rise! And all of us were freezing our butts off cause we didn't expect it to be that cold, like less than 10 degrees. But thank god Ariel and I brought our sweaters so we had one more layer than the guys who wore just their trekking attire (short sleeve shirt and shorts LOL). No difference though, we just sat at one corner and all freeze tgt hahaha.

Lunch after the Hot springs! Which was included in the package as well hehe food was quite good too!

Went back our villa to rest and have a massage before leaving again at around 6? To sardine for dinner! :)

Went to Sardine 'cause we wanted to dine somewhere with a padi field view :) The place was pretty nice and chill

Hmm but food wise..... was a bit disappointing. I think our benchmark got quite high after the dinner at Mamasan lol. Food was good BUT definitely not worth the price. Like there really wasn't anything special about it?

Like my salmon dish which i could have easily air fried myself..... and beautified with a few veges lol. 

Driver brought us to a shopping center after our dinner :) Forgot the name of the place but it was damn biggggg! And they sold all the local Bali stuff at damn low prices! They had food, bags, accessories, ornaments, clothes and other things haha I think i spent like $60 SGD but settled all my souvenirs and got some stuff for myself too hehe.
