Feeling major withdrawal symptoms from Bali while starting this post....... my first time there and it was such an amazing experience. Weather was good (sunny yet windy and the best part was the low humidity, skin didn't even feel oily after the whole day omg), food was reasonably-priced and damn good and the one week we spent there just felt so chill and slow-paced, such an awesome place. Looking back, this trip really burnt a hole in our pockets but i can only say it's our first time going there, we didn't know the 'right' amount we were supposed to spend and that's why many of my friends were shocked at the amount we paid for this trip. Well, but i can safely say we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly during this trip and we'll just have to work hard to patch back this hole in our pocket hee : )
Just FYI, our BaliCLAN hashtag is made up the first letters from our names: Cheryl, Louis, Ariel & Nic hehe such affinity in our names.
Off to Bali we goooooooooooo~ Took a Tigerair flight at about 7am in the morning and reached Denpasar Airport at 10plus!
Pretty sky view while en route to our small plane~

Felt really annoyed and shit at the airport because this guy (who was wearing a white collared tee and khaki bottoms) helped us to push our trolley and demanded that we gave him tips???????? We let him do it because we thought he was someone from the villa cause he just casually started pushing our trolley but in the end we found out he actually works at the airport or smth????? That wasn't even the worst part. When i reluctantly gave him tips i wanted to give in the local currency but he saw my SGD (my mistake) and wanted me to give him those instead. And ofc, SIX FREAKING DOLLARS wasn't enough, he wanted a RED NOTE ($10). JUST FOR PUSHING OUR FREAKING TROLLEY TO THE CAR WHICH WAS WHAT, 100M AWAY?????? WAS SO PISSED BUT I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT 'CAUSE APPARENTLY NO ONE STOOD UP FOR ME AND JUST LET ME PAY THE TIP. And i didn't want to cause any trouble so..... i gave it to him. Bad start to the trip. Started suspecting every other person after that >:(
Arrived at our villa [Villa Ruandra] after lika 45mins-ish journey?

| DAT KISSIN' FACE THOUGH |
Chilled, unpacked, inflated our floats and rested for awhile before heading out to explore! First stop on our list was Seminyak Square! Had our lunch first at a cafe nearby called The Junction.
Food was pretty decent but sadly, it didn't make it into the list of 'places which impressed us'.
Walked around Seminyak square but it got boring after awhile. Things were quite overpriced....... but i still got myself a pair of lazy pants and a bag hahaha.
Started making our way back to our villa around evening time? Decided to walk instead of cabbing 'cause we wanted to take a look at the shops along the streets.
Stumbled across a restaurant [Biku] which the bf recognised to be one of the recommended food places so we decided to have our dinner there 'cause we were getting hungry as well. The place was quite packed and many tables were reserved but thankfully the waiter gave us a table which was reserved because the group were only coming in at a later timing.
