Internship

Haven't had the time to update my blog recently 'cause internship is taking a toll on my weak body D: Dk if i'm using my brain too much at work but i always feel so tired and sleepy by 11pm nowadays.... haven't had such a healthy sleeping time in the longest time lol. 

It's been 2 weeks into my internship and i'm so glad that the people there are the most friendly bunch ever. I guess it's also because we're all around the same age so we have similar topics to talk about but hanging out with them makes interning so much more fun :)

Had teppenyaki quite often recently with the bf..... think we gotta control our meal budgets xD

But its so gooooooddddddd

Made my very first top last sunday! Took me one whole day to complete (even with the help of templates) but the sense of achievement was so overwhelming. Kinda sad that even the size 0 template is too big for me so that means i gotta take my own measurements the next time i sew my own top, which also means more work :( But i'm so happy that i found a new favourite past-time ^^

Made a trip down to Chinatown last Saturday evening with the bf :) Is it just me or do the photos from the bf's ip6 turn up funny on my blog? Like it looks quite pixelated although it's damn clear on my phone hmmmm weirddddd

Was so spoilt for choices while buying fabrics at Hong Lim Complex, everything just looked so prettyyyyy. But all the better quality ones were quite ex so i settled for the cheaper ones first. Wait for me pretty cloths, i'll buy you all once i get better at this : )

Also bought some sewing suppies from Sing Mui Heng which i thought were really affordably priced. A pair of damn good and sharp scissors ($8.20), 12 rolls of coloured thread for $5, a huge roll of white thread ($3), flat piece of wool (its 4 yards if i rmb correctly, for $4) , pins, magnetic clips etc. 

Finally met up with the girls for dinner at the airport. As usual, so much laughter and nonsensical conversations with these girls whom i've been tolerating since secondary school xD How is it that we're still acting so retarded even though we're 22......... Hahaha can't wait for 2017 when we can finally open our 'time-capsule' messages to see how much things have changed :')
