Rays

For the longest time ever, my brother has been bugging me about my 21st birthday present, asking me what i want and to tell him if i eye anything in particular. But ever since i got back from my Europe trip, and with the gifts from all my friends for my 21st, i realised i kinda have everything i want already. I mean, a few stuff did catch my eye (clothes, bags etc) but i wanted my brother's gift to be something i really use often and not smth that would be laying around collecting dust in my room.

So i delayed it till last week, when i finally decided to buy a pair of raybans. I contemplated long and hard about this - about 2 weeks, plus i had to wait a week for my order to reach the shop, to make sure that i wasn't going to buy it on impulse and that i would actually use it. And i absolutely fell in love with it when i saw it. Gold-framed, green lens, totally my type of beauty. So thank you brother, for this awesome present heehee :*

Can i just add that my dad went gaga over it too. He was all like "oh it suits me so well too", "i want the exact same one, same size also".... Oh wells, father's day/birthday present settled? Hahaha.

Coolness +50
We just had to take cool photos with my new sunglasses xD

Mother's Day dinner at Crystal Jade @ the airport. Only managed to snap a photo of this chicken 'cause we gobbled the rest up too fast hehe

Gonna miss this fatty while he's gone :( 2 weeks of pure torture not having someone to irritate when i'm at home. I swear my parents think that i don't love him just because i always make fun of him but that just how i am.... I show my affection through mockery yea you got that right. If i mock you i actually like you. Logic.

Random photo of the parents and i in the mrt haha

Bf's exams finally end today!!!!! We had lunch at Poulét @ Bedok Mall before walking to Fatcat to try the much raved about desserts, and also to visit the annoying bff at work.

Tried their gourmet waffle - Charcoal waffle with Blueberry icecream and salted egg sauce. Wanted Thai milk tea ice cream initially but they weren't selling it today :( bummer. Anw about the waffle, i didn't quite like it.....? The first bite i took i was like "Hmm, not bad" but it got a bit argh after that I don't really know why..... to each his own i guess. The bf and i both agree that Hatterstreet still has the best waffles :)

The bf saw the woman beside us having this and was so attracted to it that he decided we should try it too. $4.50/piece. It's some jelly thingy with liquid inside that squirts out when you bite into it hahaha i'm so bad at describing food. I kinda liked this one 'cause it tasted very refreshing and it was just so unique. Very photogenic too so plus point.

Nic joined us for dinner too and we decided to try the Thai Boat Noodles store at Bedok Point. 1 bowl of noodle costs $1/1.50 which enticed us, but the portion was so so tiny. I expected it to be small, but not THAT small?! Like you could literally finish it in one mouth.

It's the size of my hand that's how small it is
But, the food didn't disappoint. Nic's pad thai was quite good, the winglets were so peppery i loved it so much and my favourite out of the boat noodles has got to be the tomyum one. It costs $1.50/bowl but it's so so goooooodddddd. I would have had more if it wasn't that costly :( Think about it, $1.50 for one mouth of noodles......... But the tomyum one was really worth it.
