Staycay @ Lloyd's Inn

Weeeooooeoeoeoeoeooe finally found some inspiration to update about my life after reading a few blog posts. So the reason I haven't really been updating is because I leave my macbook in the office and without my macbook, it's really a chore to upload my photos onto the blog (iphone > ipad > blogtouch app > blogger (resizing of photos required). Yup but I got over that so finally, here's a post on the staycay that the bf and I had in...... May? Hehe

We had this staycay kindly sponsored by my mentor Chris as a reward for me hitting Fastrack. Am really thankful to have met Chris, to be introduced to this career by him, and being able to learn and be guided by him : ) Come to think of it, Eminence really has the most amazing people. I mean, everyone around us is amazing. But what makes my colleagues amazing is their willingness to share their humble backgrounds, their tough fights, their roads to success......and helping out whenever they can, I just love the environment there.

Very very very glad that we had this short time away to ourselves before the bf went back to the army. He's SO busy with his work now that I barely get a few hours with him every week..... We will get through this together babe. These few years may be tough but we will work hard for an awesome future tgt :**

Eminence Retreat 2017

Went to Bali in January for my first ever company retreat! I realized that it really isn't easy planning a trip to accommodate for 60 over people (especially when the travel agency you liaised with closed down without warning and you only found out about their closure on the news a few weeks before the actual trip?!), so kudos to the team who didn't give up and made sure everything was settled despite the challenges : ) 

Was really excited for the retreat because it was my first overseas trip with Eminence!!! And of course all I expected from the trip was fun and more fun hahaha until I found out that there would be 2 days of meetings......?? But tbh the meetings were really helpful in re-framing our minds and preparing ourselves for the new working year - setting goals and targets etc. 

Graduated from NAT! Very thankful to be in an agency headed by someone with so much passion, integrity and faith despite his condition.  

My one word for 2017. Haven't been living my one word well, but this is a timely reminder to always prioritize. If you don't plan your time well, then the many 'fake emergencies' and non-important things of the world will take over your time, and that's why people always say that they have no time, which we all know isn't true, you just don't prioritize it.

What started as an innocent description soon turned into our favourite pose of the year, or maybe for eternity. If we're still friends by then. 

Also, last Christmas, Char and I thick-skinnedly invited ourselves to join the Esade family's xmas celebration...... Appreciate me guys, for if not for me, you wouldn't have had such beautiful decorations to take photos with :))) and Char brought pre-mix brownies so we good. 

Bf went to Taiwan with his fam in December, thought I'd share some of his pictures here 'cause they turned out surprisingly good????

Finally met up with these kiddos to catch up with everyone's life (actually only RS' cause I meet the other 2 once every few weeks hahaha). WHERE IS KANGWEI THO. WE CHANGED IT TO LUNCH JUST FOR HIM.
